Credits and Refunds

How credits work

FlexChain runs on prepaid credits. You buy credits through Stripe, in packs or custom amounts, and the platform deducts credits as you use its services. The dollar price of credits, and the number of credits each action costs, are set by your pricing schedule: the standard rates, any volume tier you have reached, and any savings-based pricing agreed for your account. Your current schedule, tier, and balance are always shown in Settings → Billing, and the exact credits for an action are shown in the platform before you confirm it. The amount shown at confirmation is the fee.

Where a fee is based on savings, the platform calculates it from your own uploaded data using the baseline shown at approval. The credits displayed at approval are the fee. Volume pricing applies automatically as your usage grows.

Postage and carrier charges are separate

Postage for parcel labels is charged in real dollars at the carrier's rate at the time of purchase, through Stripe, in addition to the credit fee shown. Freight brokered through our freight partner is invoiced to you by that partner under its terms. FlexChain does not mark up postage. Carriers may re-rate a shipment after pickup if the actual weight or dimensions differ from what was entered; those adjustments are charged to you.

Refunds

Unused credits: non-refundable, except where we made a billing error or where the law requires a refund. Credits have no cash value and can't be transferred to another company.

Credits already used: non-refundable.

Postage: non-refundable once a label is purchased. If you void an unused label within the carrier's window, the carrier's refund is passed to you when the carrier issues it. If FlexChain failed to purchase a label you paid for, we refund that postage in full.

Freight: charges and any cancellation fees follow the freight partner's terms.

Disputes and mistakes

If a charge looks wrong, email [email protected] within 30 days with the transaction ID. We aim to respond within two business days and, where we made the error, correct it as credits or a refund to the original payment method. Please contact us before opening a card dispute. A chargeback on a correct charge may suspend the account until it is resolved.

Taxes

Sales tax is added at checkout where required by law, based on your billing address. Enter your business tax ID at checkout if you are tax-exempt or need it on your receipt.

Changes

We may change standard rates and pricing schedules for future purchases and actions. The platform always shows the current amounts before you buy or confirm. Credits you already hold keep their value.
